Two awards for RELATE fellows at ACM Student Research Competition

The ACM Student Research Competition 2nd place and 3rd place awards were presented to Ilias Gerostathopoulos and Adrian Juan-Verdejo, both ESRs (Early Stage Researchers) in RELATE, at the ACM/IEEE 17th International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems in Valencia, Spain.

Ilias Gerostathopoulos was awarded with the 2nd place award of the ACM Student Research Competition – Graduate level for his research abstract, poster, and presentation before a panel of judges on his research topic “Model-Driven Design of Ensemble-Based Component Systems”. Ilias received a $300 prize, a silver medal, and a 2-year complimentary renewal to his ACM student membership.

Adrian Juan-Verdejo was awarded with the 3rd place award of the ACM Student Research Competition – Graduate level for his research abstract, poster, and presentation before a panel of judges on his research topic “Model-Driven Engineering Meets the Platform-as-a-Service Model”. Adrian received a $200 prize, a bronze medal, and a 2-year complimentary renewal to his ACM student membership.
